VoiceBox, the award-winning multimedia agency, are delighted to announce their partnership with Charity Digital. The partnership began once VoiceBox agreed to provide live captions for the charity’s Digital Fundraising Day on the 7th of November.
Digital Fundraising day was a virtual conference dedicated to the digital fundraising landscape. The day is designed to help charities to gain new digital knowledge and use digital advances to drive their fundraising goals forwards. Following the success of the live captions for the digital event, VoiceBox is proud to announce that we will also provide onsite captions for their live event in March 2020.
Sim Johnston, general manager of VoiceBox, said of the partnership: ‘We’re thrilled to be partnering with Charity Digital. As a multimedia agency we have seen first-hand the benefits that digital transformation can bring to the charity sector. We are excited to lend our live caption services to ensure that the insights Charity Digital bring forth are accessible to everyone in attendance.’’
VoiceBox joined some household names in the charity sector, such as Comic Relief, the Katie Piper Foundation and the World Wildlife fund, in partnering with the event.
Mimi Morrill, the event co-ordinator said that:
It went wonderfully! [The Live Caption artist] was absolutely brilliant. We had sound issues with our first session and the captions were a great help in making sure our audience could still follow along
Chris Hall, Marketing Manager of Charity Digital said: “What a day! We had 1,000 charity professionals join us and almost 3,000 live engagements. The feedback has been phenomenal, and accessibility has been the highlight of the day. Participants loved that they could be part of a conference from the comfort of their homes or desks and being able to offer the live captions as well shows our commitment to accessibility and inclusivity. VoiceBox were the perfect partner for that.”
The agenda on the day included an in-depth review of the best digital fundraising platforms for charities, a webinar from Trillium technologies on how digital transformation can benefit fundraising, a social media fundraising guidebook from Lightful, the social media management platform designed by charities. Attendees also benefited from a digital fundraising podcast showcasing some of the events partners.
